CSV to JSON reads a comma-separated table and writes a JSON array indented by two spaces. With First row is headers on, each later row becomes an object whose keys are those cells. Turn the option off and the same table becomes an array of arrays.
Fields follow RFC 4180. A comma or a line break stays inside a quoted field, and a quote inside that field is two quotes (""). Cells stay JSON strings, so leading zeros are kept. A short row is filled with empty strings. A repeated header is reported on the second copy.
A row with more cells than the header is reported at the first extra cell, so a value is never dropped. Conversion runs in your browser and the table you paste is never uploaded.
It turns a comma-separated table into a JSON array indented by two spaces. With First row is headers on, the result is an array of objects. With the option off, the result is an array of arrays padded to the widest row.
Missing cells become empty strings, so every object still has every header key. A row with more cells than the header is reported at the first extra cell instead of inventing a key.
A field wrapped in double quotes may contain commas and line breaks. A doubled quote ("") inside that field is one double quote. A quote that never closes, or text after the closing quote, is reported at the opening quote.
