QR Code turns the text you type into a QR symbol and draws it as an SVG image. The picture updates as you type, and Copy and Download save that same SVG.
The encoder uses byte mode and error correction M, picks the smallest version from 1 to 6 that fits, and always applies mask pattern 0. Version 6 holds 106 UTF-8 bytes. A longer string is reported as too long instead of a partial symbol. Version 1 has no alignment pattern. Versions 2 through 6 place the one alignment pattern those sizes require.

Version 6 with error correction M holds 106 UTF-8 bytes. That is 106 ASCII characters, and fewer when a character takes more than one byte, such as an emoji. Longer text produces the message Text is too long for this QR code.
The symbol always uses mask pattern 0. A reader accepts any of the eight masks, and fixing the mask keeps the encoder small. The format bits record that choice.
